Under the attentive gaze of the highest cliff on the
Mediterranean, the Peñón de Ifach, Calp has grown on both sides of the
Great Rock, symbol and image of the Costa Blanca. It has been a tourist
destination since the 30s due, especially, to the quality of its beaches,
their fine sand and the cleanliness of their waters. The municipality
preserves vestiges of the past in its old town, and curiosities such as the
ruins of the Baños de la Reina, and some abandoned salt mines. Its fishing
port is full of vitality, where restaurants serve the local fish and seafood.

Calpe is a pleasant seaside town with 2 beautiful immaculately
maintained beaches. It's dominated by the Calpe Rock, a towering
monolith that juts out into the sea, declared a Nature reserve it boasts a singular typology,
with a 332m high. At the foot of the rock
are the Roman salt mines. This environment also constitutes an
important ecological site, especially, for migratory birds. Cliffs,
coves and beaches of fine sand outline the littoral. |
| The coastline combines the cliffs of Ifach, Toix and the Manzanera, with the coves of the Racó, Urques, Mallorquí, Calalga
and Bassetes and the beaches of fine sand of the Fossa, Arenal-Bol,
Cantal Roig and Puerto Blanco.

try in the old town and in the different restaurants in the coastal
area.

Benissa is a quiet delightful small town. It has a well
preserved old quarter and a beautiful Church known as the Cathedral of the
Marina Alta. Most days the tourist office organize free guided walking
tours. Naturally, Benissa is a beautiful coastal town. Its beaches and
bays with their cristal clear waters are calm, peaceful : La Fustera, Cala
Pinets, Cala La Llobella, Cala Abogat, Cala Baladrar, Cap Blanc. Benissa combined with the beauty of its’ beaches, coves and countryside create a
beautiful scene, further enhanced by cliffs and jagged rocks.
The local area offers a rich variety of sports and
leisure activities, there is a riding school, and a nine golf course in San
Jaime. The little harbour of Les Bassetes offers a lot of water sports and
diving courses.
Benissa has broad variety of Festivals, beginning in
January with the traditional Fira i Porrat de Sant Antoni. In April, there
is the most important festival in honour of Purissima Xiqueta. Next are the
festivals of "Moros and Christianos " in june. And in the summer,
Benissa is itself a festival, for every week-end in the various rural
divisions there are popular fiestas, including dinners outside with typic
products, dances, and strings of firecrackers.

| The natural environment of Benissa makes it perfect for day trips
in the midst of nature. The town is surrounded by the mountains of
Solana, Olta and Malla Verda and by the Bernia mountain range, which
is considered an ideal setting for hill-walking. |
| The surrounding countryside is covered with flourishing groves of
olive and almond trees and the town has 40km of coastline full of
natural attractions such as the tranquil coves surrounded by cliffs
and pine groves.
The cuisine of Valencia is here enriched with local dishes that are
spicy, and flavourful, with products from the sea and from the
country.

Located in the Marina Alta, its enchantment lies in its
spectacular growth, while preserving is privileged environment.
Teulada-Moraira is a tourism centre that is well-known for its lovely
beaches, its interesting historical centre, the quality of its wines and its

El Cap d’Or marvellous panoramic views of the

Solitary beaches and beaches with both sports and
playful activities. Dénia has a wonderful climate, whilst its landscape, is
an added plus to its blue waters. The nature reserve of el Montgó, rising
up, as Blasco Ibáñez said, like “a giant hand”, has served as a
watchtower for a littoral which has been inhabited for over 4.000 years.

The nature reserve of El Montgó offers an endless number of sites
on the way up to its peak 753 meters above sea-level. More than 600
plant species, cultural and archaeological remains have earned it its
right to be protected. The ‘Cueva del Agua’ (the cave of the
water), with its Roman inscription made by the VIIth century Gémina
Legion, Camell's Cave or the route of the Hermits of the Conquest are
sufficient motives for programming a visit. Once at the top, the
horizon reaches beyond Ibiza, which is approximately 70 kilometers
away (daily boat)

| Along the coastline you can visit the Cova Tallada, situated
between the ‘Playa de Les Rotes’ and the ‘Cabo de San Antonio’,
which can be reached by both land and sea. By sea, from the port,
there are organized maritime excursions on which it is possible to
observe the submarine world. |
